On the Phonon Drag Effect Contribution to the Electrical Conductivity of Semiconductors

The contribution of the optical phonon drag effect to the electrical conductivity of a semiconductor with an important percentage of polar bond is calculated. It is found that this effect is significant in the high‐temperature range and smaller but not negligible in the low‐temperature range.
