Solidified solutions of SnCl 2 and Dy(ClO 4 ) 3 have been investigated by means of the Mössbauer effect. In both solutions the Mössbauer pattern was observed to disappear above −90 °C. This was preceded by an appreciable broadening of the lines in the case of SnCl 2 .
