The electric field gradient resulting from the stress field around a screw dislocation and an edge dislocation with a (111) 〈110〉 slip system is calculated. For the case of randomly located dislocations the distribution function of the corresponding quadrupole frequencies is presented and explicitly calculated in a normalize form for certain examples. From the absolute first moment of this function a converging expression of quadrupolar width is obtained that depends on position and density of the dislocations.
