In the present work the dislocation theory of the susceptibility and coercive force of silicon iron is developed. Calculations are made of the force between a Bloch wall of the {100}‐180° type and dislocations really existing in this material. The susceptibility and coercive force of silicon iron are calculated, and conditions are stated under which the temperature dependence of susceptibility and coercive force of this material changes markedly.
