Experimental evidence is given that charge storage exists in photoconducting GaPCu after excitation with both intrinsic and extrinsic light. Appreciable storage is still observed one hour after excitation even at roomtemperature. Measurements of stored charge as a function of ir photon energy, external voltage, and excitation density confirm that such effects as supralinear photoconductivity, etc., are governed by optical charge exchange in agreement with previous investigations.
