Results of investigations of the normal spectral emissivity of W‐Mo alloys are reported. The measurements were made at 2000, 2200, and 2400 ° K with the wavelength range being 0.4 to 4 μm. Emissivity values of the alloys lie in between those of the pure constituents. The temperature coefficient of the emissivity and the x ‐point position change with composition. The results are discussed in terms of the rigid band model.
