A theoretical investigation is made of the possibility of obtaining ultrasound oscillations during the periodic rise and movement of high field domains in the case of the Gunn effect in piezoelectrics. It is shown that for definite correlations between the sound and drift velocity of a domain a resonant ultrasound amplification at frequencies being multiples of the frequency of the current oscillations may be observed. This effect is considered for GaAs.
