The magnetic susceptibilities of sodium neodymium tungstate Na 0.5 Nd 0.5 WO 4 and sodium terbium tungstate Na 0.5 Tb 0.5 WO 4 were measured from 10 to 800 °K. They were found to become antiferromagnetic at 20 and 39 °K, respectively. Their magnetic behaviors suggest the existence of clustering of magnetic ions.
