A study is made of the spontaneous Hall effect in ferromagnetic metals caused by the anisotropy of the scattering of conduction electrons by spin waves. The temperature dependence of the spontaneous Hall coefficient is given by R s = α T 3 + β T 4 , where the first term is due to the interaction of the conduction electron orbits with the spins of the magnetic electrons and the second term is due to the spin‐orbit interaction between the magnetic electrons themselves.
