The vibration spectrum of nickel is studied using Krebs's model. The phonon dispersion curves for the three symmetry directions [100], [110], and [111] are presented and are found to be in very good agreement with neutron scattering measurements. Good agreement is also obtained with the curve of θ against T . The computed G(v) curve is compared with the experimental curves and some agreement is found.
