On the Theory of Galvanomagnetic Phenomena in Strong Electric Fields

Some galvanomagnetic effects are calculated for electric fields which are sufficiently high to give quadrac tideviations from Ohm's law. The calculations are carried out assuming nonparabolicity of the energy band. Acoustic mode scattering, and polar and non‐polar optical mode scattering are included in the analysis. Kane's model of the nonparabolic band is used in the final result.
