A calculation is given of the dependence of the spontaneous magnetization in a thin film on the temperature and the number of monoatomic layers in the film. The dependence of Curie temperature on the number of monoatomic layers is also calculated, taking into account the effects of perpendicular and parallel magnetic anisotropy. This work is an extension of a previous theoretical study by Corciovei.
