The delayed fluorescence of anthracene single crystals of various origins is measured at 77 and 4.2 °K. At 4.2 °K the decay time of the delayed fluorescence is much larger than at 77 °K. The optical glow curves of the crystals are measured in the temperature range 4.2 to 77 °K after excitation with UV light. The nature of the traps responsible for the glow peaks is discussed.
