The magnetic after‐effects of structural lattice defects produced by neutron irradiation of nickel at 25 °K were investigated in the temperature region of 8 to 400 °K. Several very pronounced after‐effects were found at low temperatures within the stages I region of the recovery of the residual resistivity. The properties of several after effects (activation energy and preexponential factor) are determined. The main features of the recovery stages of the magnetic after‐effects agree with those of the residual resistivity.
