Laser Lighting In article number 2000391 by Caroline E. Reilly and coworkers, a compact emitter for a laser lighting system is created using a commercial nitride laser diode, a small single crystal phosphor, and in‐house machined parts. Variations to improve color and efficiency are considered via experiment and simulation, including the addition of a red laser, a red phosphor, or a wavelength‐selective coating.
