Whispering Gallery Mode Resonators In article number 1900825 , Lu Cai and co‐workers briefly introduces the basic characteristics and sensing principles, the manufacturing method, and the sensing applications of whispering gallery mode (WGM) resonators in the fields of physics chemistry, and biology. The sensing performance in physical and biomolecular applications in recent decades are summarized. In addition, the development trends of WGM resonators are discussed.
