Biomimetic Materials The interaction of fibronectin (FN) with collagen (COL) fi bers inside the scaffolds, is revealed by immunohistochemistry . In this study a porous composite material systems, based on natural polymers, such as COL, chondroitin sulfate (CS) and FN, present optimal physico‐chemical, structural and cytocompatibility properties, with potential for applications in the field of periodontal tissue engineering.
