By means of a combinatorial Hull cell approach, Zn–Ni, Zn–Co, and Zn–Ni–Co material library samples have been fabricated galvanostatically from a slightly acidic sulfate‐based electrolyte bath containing glycine as complexing agent. The compositions were determined by X‐ray fluorescence spectroscopy (XRF), surface morphology was studied by scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and the crystallographic structure was analysed from X‐ray diffraction (XRD) measurements. By means of scanning droplet cell microscopy (SDCM), potentiodynamic polarisation curves were recorded in order to examine the corrosion properties of the different materials. The most noble corrosion potentials and low corrosion currents were obtained for ternary Zn–Ni–Co. Schematic of the scanning droplet cell microscope and an electrodeposited material library sample
