We report investigations on surface magnetic‐domain structure in amorphous glass‐covered microwires using polar and longitudinal Kerr microscopy. For the first time the main stages of the surface magnetization reversal has been discovered: domain‐wall motion related to the formation of stable circular monodomain and the following multiplication of the number of domains that finishes in the formation of the reversed circularly magnetized state.
