To mark the NHS's 70th birthday in July, The Health Foundation, the Institute for Fiscal Studies, The King's Fund and the Nuffield Trust joined forces to produce a series of five reports examining the state of the NHS and social care in the UK past, present and future. This article summarises some of the key findings of the reports.
