Components of prostatic fluid resolved by two‐dimensional polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis were detected by dye, silver stain, and autoradiography. Five components identified by autoradiography were not recognized by the dye or silver stain. While labeled components were found in primary fractions of split ejaculates and seminal fluid in addition to prostatic fluid, they have not been found in tissue extracts of heterologous organs or human serum.
