We consider a string stretched between two diagonal branes on a bosonic torus under a perturbation of one of the radii. In the world‐sheet description, this corresponds to a perturbation of a conformal field theory with two boundary components. A term in the second order boundary RG equations is related to the change of conformal dimension of the boundary changing operator.
