Reversed phase high‐performance liquid chromatography (HPLC), using a mobile phase composed of acetonitrile, methanol and water is preferably applied to separate diphenylamine and its major reaction products with nitrogen oxides. This paper describes the evaluation of the preferred chromatographic systems and the application of HPLC to analyse single base propellants.
