Ammonium nitrate doped with diammine copper dinitrate and stored for 10 years was reinvestigated by DTA and TMA. The phase transition IV/II and IV/III, which are of interest for the practical use, still occur above 50°C. In spite of moisture contents between 0.4% and 1.4% no caking was observed.
