5‐Phenyl‐cyclohexane‐1,3‐dione‐4‐carboxanilide is used as a stabilizer for double‐base propellant and gives good results with the stability tests. The samples were stored for 12 days at 100°C and were extracted by different suitable solvents. The column partition chromatography helped in separation of the different nitro‐derivatives of the 1,3‐diketone stabilizer.
