The present issue of “Propellants and Explosives” contains the Secretary's official report of the meeting, the individual Session and Working Group reports written by the session Chairmen, and the full texts of the technical papers presented and accepted for publication. The meeting discussed the following topics: deflagration and transition from deflagration to detonation initiation and stability of detonation of slurry and watergel explosives sensitivity of slurry and watergel explosives the underwater explosion test testing of blasting fumes test detonatorsSteps towards standardization were taken in the field of deflagration and underwater explosion testing. There was also an exchange of views from different countries on the subject of methods of testing permissible explosives.
