Mononuclear cell line THP‐1 cells are treated with LPS (mimic the stimulation of pathogens) or let‐7e to study the roles of let‐7e in THP‐1 cells. The processed THP‐1 cells can produce many functional proteins, and iTRAQ proteomic analysis is used to analyze these proteins.
