Equity in education for people with disabilities is an important yet challenging goal to attain. This paper reports findings from in depth (>90 min per) interviews with academic librarians about the challenges of providing accessible materials. Key themes reported involve the relationships between academic libraries and both publishers and disabilities services offices. The paper identifies opportunities for closing the gap between the accessibility needs of students and the services and materials provided by academic libraries.
