We examine extrinsic motivational factors around Black Wikipedians' content contributions. Data collected from an online survey of 318 participants were analyzed with multiple regression analysis in order to measure the degree of association among factors. Results indicate that racial identity, social presence, and perceived information quality have significant positive effects on motivations of Black Wikipedia authors and editors.
