In this visual presentation, I present a video that illustrates preliminary findings of a study of definitions of the word fun in the context of STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics) learning. I begin by illustrating fun's importance, lack of clear definitions, warrant for common understanding is important for among researchers and educators who develop and assess STEAM learning activities. I demonstrate preliminary results of the study of fun definitions and conclude with implications for further research.
