Despite the relatively scant attention paid to individuals involved in the professional design of websites, or web design, there is a large body of literature by and for practitioners. This study examines podcasts for the ubiquitous nature of the medium and frequency of occurrence in the literature. Podcasts themselves are a little used type of text available to researchers, and this study illuminates the possibilities of their use.
