Abstract A 10‐week‐old infant, who presented with respiratory embarrassment, was found to have an azygos lobe complicated by congenital lobar emphysema. The pediatric work‐up, operative management, and postoperative course are described. The cases presenting at Duke University Medical Center are reviewed.
