Corticosteroid therapy reversed progressive chronic granulomatous lung disease following deterioration on interferon‐γ treatment

We describe a patient who suffered from chronic progressive granulomatous lung disease. He had no clinical or microbiological evidence of infection. After failure of treatment with interferon‐γ and trimethoprim‐sulfamethoxazole, he responded dramatically to corticosteroids. Pediatr Pulmonol. 2001; 32:257–260. © 2001 Wiley‐Liss, Inc.
