Lead sulfide (PbS) has attracted great attention due to its unique electronic, optical, and chemical properties. In article number 1800341 , Xiaohui Li, Hairong Zheng and co‐workers utilize PbS nanoparticles (NPs) dispersion without any polymer as a saturable absorber (SA) to generate an ultrafast pulse in a fiber ring laser. A compact mode‐locked fiber laser with 1.01 ps pulse duration at 1533 nm has been successfully achieved.
