On page 364, E. Janssens and co‐workers report on the effect of a single Pd dopant atom on the laser light absorption of small gas phase gold and palladium‐doped gold clusters. Laser‐induced dissociation reveals quenching of absorption bands for the doped species, which is attributed by density functional theory calculations to charge transfers and structural changes.
