A simple yet powerful set of synthetic parameters is identified, leading to concave structures of Pt‐based nanoparticles, pursuant to the current demand in high‐surface‐area nanostructures for catalytic applications. Specifically, the formation of Pt concave nanocubes and Mn‐doped Pt concave octahedra is demonstrated from their respective nonconcave structures.
