Au@porous Pt yolk‐shell nanoarchitectures with Au nanoparticle as yolk and porous Pt as shell are synthesized by a facile and efficient approach. The newly designed materials are tested as active electrocatalysts for methanol oxidation reaction and oxygen reduction reaction. The proposed approach is highly valuable for the creation of new yolk‐shell nanoarchitectures with desired functional shell and core.
