Hierarchical mesoporous hollow ZnMn 2 O 4 submicrospheres (HZSMs) constructed entirely from nanoparticle building blocks are rationally fabricated with intriguing superior electrochemical Li‐storage performance, as described by Changzhou Yuan and co‐workers on page 657. This electrode design concept can be easily generalized to other binary or even ternary metal oxides with well‐defined hollow nano‐/microstructures for advanced LIBs or high‐performance electrochemical capacitors.
