Light scattering computations for cylindrical fibers of high aspect ratios are needed in designing instruments for the optical characterization of airborne fibers. Long airborne fibers may also appear in a bent shape. In this paper computational results for bent fibers of various radii of bending will be presented using the multiple multipole technique (MMP).
