The intensity angular pattern of the light scattered by a drop at a scattering angle of ca. 90° is related to the size of the scattering drop. A simple relationship between the number of fringes per degree and the size is presented. The possibility of measuring the drop size through visualization of the fringe pattern is demonstrated.
