Outside Front Cover : A touchable plasma jet array was designed for enhancing transdermal drug delivery. The picture on the right shows the results of in vitro transdermal drug delivery test with or without plasma treatment. The plasma jet treatment on skin has an enhancing effect on hydrophilic macromolecular drug, patent blue V (1159.427 Da), transdermal delivery. With the mixing of 0.5% oxygen in the working gas, the enhancing effect was further improved.
