Cover Picture : The study demonstrates how a multicomponent target approach can be used inside a gas aggregation cluster source to produce alloy nanoparticles with tunable composition. A considerable impact of redeposition on the composition of alloy nanoparticles was observed. It turned out that the optical emission of sputtered atoms can be used to overcome the issue of redeposition and to enhance the composition control of the synthesis process in operando.
