Front Cover: Coatings deposited from the plasma phase of oxazoline precursors feature a distinctive and rich surface chemistry responsible for their unique reactivity towards ligands with carboxylic acid functions. While aging in ambient conditions impairs the reactivity of the films, their shelve life can be extended to at least 12 months in controled storage conditions where the negative effect of oxidative processes and hydrophobic recovery are tamed. Further details can be found in the article by Melanie MacGregor, Ujala Sinha, Rahul M. Visalakshan, et al. ( e1800130 ).
