Back Cover: The ignition properties of He discharges inside a dielectric tube with varing diameters are studied with a 2D fluid model. Effects of the tube size on the ignition voltage, and the discharge morphology such as annulus and volume contraction are presented. While satisfying the precondition of experimental observations, the modelling further provides physical insight into the discharge dynamics.
