BACK Cover: Plasma treated water has been shown to be a superior electrolyte, compared to water prepared by adding the equivalent chemicals, in producing good quality TiO 2 nanotubes during anodization of titanium. The nitrates, hydrogen peroxide and the other reactive plasma species in plasma treated water acted in synergy to produce good quality TiO 2 nanotubes.
