Cover: A novel plasma device to form atmospheric‐pressure and large‐area plasmas in a portable and sealed package for low temperature disinfection of fungi is reported. The flexible device composed of arranged alternately metal electrodes embedded in a specially designed quartz plate is found to generate stabile and visually uniform cold plasma which is suitable for food safety applications. The resistant fungi cells are significantly inactivated with a plasma treatment time of 5 mins. Further details can be found in the article by Y. Song, D. Liu,* L. Ji, W. Wang, P. Zhao, C. Quan, J. Niu and X. Zhang on page 17 .
