Cover: To explore whether plasma is irritating to sensitive tissues such as wounds and eyes, the Hen's Egg Test–chorioallantoic membrane (HET‐CAM) is used to test different plasma sources and settings. Effects including the reversibility are compared and it is ascertained that the HET‐CAM is useful for characterizing plasma properties and settings that are innocuous for living tissues.
