On page 2401 (DOI: 10.1002/polb.24145 ), Cheolmin Park and colleagues successfully developed ferroelectric polar beta phase of poly(vinylidene fluoride) through incorporation of amine functionalized, porous silica based nanofillers. These functionalized porous surfaces exhibited the efficient secondary interaction with polymer chain via hydrogen bonding, giving rise to the beta crystalline phase with the characteristic all trans chain conformation.
