In their work reported on page 2104, Praban and colleagues prepared a series of tin(II) complexes supported by N 2 O 2 bis(phenol)‐amine ligands from the reactions of Sn[N(SiMe 3 ) 2 ] 2 with the corresponding ligands having different substituents on the aryl rings and N‐containing side arm. All complexes were active for solvent‐free polymerization of L ‐lactide at 120 °C, giving poly( L ‐lactide) with narrow to moderate dispersity. When benzyl alcohol was present during the polymerization, the resulting polymer was found to be linear with benzyl alcohol as the end group. In the absence of benzyl alcohol, the obtained polymer had a cyclic structure. (DOI: 10.1002/pola.29479 )
