On page 1635, Chumsaeng and colleagues reported their studies on the polymerization of ε‐caprolactone (ε‐CL) and L ‐lactide (LA). The bowl‐shaped aluminum alkoxide complexes bearing N 2 O 2 ‐bis(phenolate)‐amine ligands and having different side arms such as pyridine, dimethyl amine, and diethyl amine were shown to be highly efficient and well‐behaved in the homo‐ and copolymerization of LA and ε‐CL at 100 °C. Depending on the side arms of the catalysts, the resulting LA/CL copolymers could be tailored to have tapered, gradient, or highly random structures in one catalyst system.
